Why you feel off (even when things seem “fine”)

Hi hi,

Lately I’ve been hearing a common thread in my client sessions and amongst friends and family :

“I don’t know what’s wrong. Nothing’s technically wrong. But I don’t feel like myself. I’m going through the motions on autopilot.”

Can you relate?—You’re not alone. I can identify myself. Especially in the world right now with everything going on. Numbing out seems to be the norm.

What you’re feeling might not be stress, exactly. Or even anxiety.
It might be disconnection—from your body, your needs, your identity. A complete and NORMAL self preservation tool during turbulent times.

It’s what I call “functional burnout.”
You’re still getting things done. Still showing up.
But inside? You’re quietly gone. A shell. Going through the motions.

RTT helps get to the root of that. Get off that wheel. Help you get present and in the moment with your needs and self.

We’re not meant to white-knuckle our way through life, relationships, or reinvention. And yet so many of us do—especially when we’re the ones people count on.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a subconscious modality that helps gently uncover the beliefs and patterns that are running beneath the surface.

Things like:
- “I’m not allowed to rest.”
- “If I slow down, I’ll disappear.”
- “Other people’s needs matter more than mine.”

Once we find those roots, we can begin to rewire them.

If you’re feeling off—you’re not broken. How long do you want to keep at it?
You may just be carrying stories that no longer belong to the version of you that’s trying to emerge.

I love this topic in particular these days with social media, the news, and adulting in general.

I have sessions available this month (Zoom or in-person in NY), and I offer free consults if you want to talk through what’s going on and if you can relate.

Remember - this work is intense but not forever - we can work together in just a few sessions to see change. I work alongside therapists and this modality compliments the work you may already be doing with your Psychologist.

Thanks for being here.

More soon—and take care of your nervous system today, in whatever way you can. The world is a lot right now. Go gentle with yourself.

With love,
Jen
